Our EPCOT Trip 10/12/2010
So on Saturday, October 9th 2010, my husband and I attended the Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT. We had such an enjoyable day there. We tried all kinds of exotic foods we have never heard of or tried before! We rode the many rides they had to offer as well as a new attraction Disney had opened. Captain EO. The legendary Captain EO starring Michael Jackson returns to Epcot theme park! Join millions of fans who thrill to the music and be awed by the visual effects magic of some of the biggest names in Hollywood during this 17-minute interactive film. Filled with show-stopping musical numbers performed by Michael Jackson, and stunning special effects orchestrated by executive producer George Lucas and director Francis Ford Coppola, Captain EO is a sight and sound spectacular with an enduring message. Screening in the same Imagination! Pavilion theater in which it played from 1986 to 1994, Captain EO features improved sound, thanks to acoustical enhancements made to the theater in recent years. Captain EO is filled with unforgettable music and imagery that will take a new generation of Guests on a journey to the stars. Whenever we go to Disney, we always take our camera and take loads of pictures as well as video footage to share with our family and friends as well as the world! I also had a very memorable experience as well in France. I was getting ready to snap a picture of a bush shaped like Mrs. Potts when my husband got my attention. I looked and saw Princess Aurora come out of nowhere! I snapped a picture of her and she escorted me to her wonderful garden! She gave me first dibs on a photo with her! She called me a Princess as well as my husband a Prince. It totally made my day! I have linked our videos and picture videos to share with you all. So enjoy!! The Disney Experience Add Comment Hollis Garden September 25th 2010 09/29/2010
The second I walked into Hollis Garden, I noticed right away that amazing Autumn colors had developed. Hollis Garden is my favorite place to visit each month. Just because they change each month and new insects tend to wander aimlessly there. I loved how the browned pine needles were laid on the ground near trees along the path ways. I was able to capture some very unique and wonderful photos that just screamed Autumn to me. I found a pine cone that was on a path near some pine needles. I placed my camera on the path ground, so the camera could be eye level with the pine cone. I was able to take this wonderful view of this pine cone. I was able to do the same thing with a leaf that had lots of Autumn colors. Yet again, the leaf was laying on a bed of browned pine needles, which I thought was just perfect for its backdrop. I love this season. Nature begins to change and the air becomes crisp and cooling as well. I was also able to take several photos of flowers that began to bloom for the season. I was also surprised that other flowers I had never seen before were in bloom too! As you can see from the photos attached to this Journal I created here, my trip to Hollis Garden was a good one. I was able to bring back with me some amazing captures that just screamed Autumn. Rest In Peace 09/20/2010
I just wanted to post a blog in remembrance of our family cat, Pepsi. On September 14th 2010 around 9am, Pepsi passed away due to Feline AIDS. His red blood cell count was at 20%. That was the reason why he was having a hard time breathing when we found him. We found him in the yard, non-responsive to Brian's calls. Brian picked him up and brought him inside. He collapsed in front of the door. We knew right away we had to take him to the Vet. He went through some tests and knew there was something wrong when the nurse looked at the results and didn't come in to let us know. She let the Vet tell us. The Vet explained to us how Feline AIDS was spread. He most likely got Feline AIDS from breeding with other cats and fights. The Vet said it would be the best idea to put him to sleep so he doesn't suffer. Pepsi was given to us about 3 years ago. A lady next door from us was being kicked out of the place she was in. Due to that, she was going to be homeless and could no longer take care of Pepsi. She gave him to us to care for him and knew we would give him lots of love. We can think of two reasons why Pepsi came back to us in the end. One, he knew we would take care of him because he was sick. Two, he wanted to give us closure. He didn't want us to be worried and wonder where he went off to. He came back to us to give us closure as to what happened to him. So I leave you with some pictures of Pepsi. He will be missed very much. Couples Portraits Coming Soon! 09/07/2010
So I talked things over with my brother and his new girlfriend. My brother moved down about 2 months ago and looked up his old flame from about 10 years ago. She was still single and they saw a lot of each other since he came down. They recently announced that they were officially an item! The whole family is really excited for the both of them. So, what I did to show my excitement for this new couple was to extend my photography service to them for free! I plan on having them pose for the camera as well as posting the photos with their consent. I have these great poses in mind for them! I hope to take these photos maybe on Sunday! Seeing how my husband and I are double dating with them! I'm so looking forward to this and hope to impress them with my photography skills in portraits! RedBubble 08/30/2010

If you want to become a master of photography, you have to start by grasping the basics. In this section you can do just that. All the building blocks are covered, from Shutter Speed and Aperture to more advanced subjects such as understanding the nature of color and how to use different types of light for different effects. There will also be sections on using the camera in manual mode and on understanding the differences between film and digital photography. The section is expanded once a month, so keep checking back to get the most out of it.
Shutter Speed Learning to control the length of time the cameras shutter remains open will improve your photography and will give you visual control well beyond deciding how light or dark the final image will be, so it is a very important skill to master. Commissions Opened! 08/17/2010
